Thank you for visiting Simon’s Spots! My love for pet portraiture started by accident– when I painted a memorial portraits of my father’s beloved hound and my husband’s departed golden retriever. From there, I captured my blue tick hound, Simon. I would love to paint your pet, or paint the pet of your loved one. Pet portraits make fantastic gifts during any season!
All portraits are painted with professional-grade acrylic paints on a sealed birch wood panel. Each panel is cradled and ready to hang (a cradled panel is a display and support system that looks like a shallow box). Each work is protected with a matte UV varnish.
Enhanced woodgrain or other backgrounds available upon request.
Float-mount framing is also available.
